The Engine Room – where the community meets

26th March 2024

For many years now The Engine Room has been proud to support Tottenham Foodbank. The new Anglican church and community centre on Hale Village has organised weekly collections on Thursdays and to date we have collected over 500 kgs of food, drink and other things for  Tottenham Foodbank. They also act as a referral agent so anyone needing emergency food support can access it via The Engine Room team. The Engine Room is a vibrant hub with over 1,000 visitors a week, which organises a wide range of community programmes for children, young people and the elderly, has its own café Table 13 and a children’s nursery Little Engineers and also offers its modern spaces to the community for hire from as little as £45 per hour. Residents of N15 and N17 get preferential rates so go online and check out www.engineroom.org.uk.

Father Andrew says “it has been great to support this vital community project which sadly has become more and more necessary to members of the local community over recent years. We are always amazed at the generosity of individuals and organisations who donate so faithfully to us. Keep up the great work!”

And of course if you would like to make a Foodbank donation and live in Tottenham Hale, The Engine Room is your go to place.. Thank you to all at Team Engine Room from us all at Tottenham Foodbank for your support over the years.
