Give Help

Our volunteers do their best work when they're making the most of their unique talents. So helping you find the role that suits you and your skills best is our goal.

Volunteering is more than delivering a task without payment. It’s about giving the gift of your time, talent and skills.  Tottenham Foodbank volunteers are the driving force behind our service, and we could not help to support our local community without them.

Advice Support Volunteer Needed

Financial inclusion support and advice can make a huge difference to people coming to a food bank. Advisers help people identify priorities, solutions, and interventions. You will be the first line of support for food bank clients, digging deeper through initial conversations to help people take the first steps to get the support they need. You will be exploring people’s circumstances, identifying priorities, and assessing what level of support the client may need.

Voucher and Referral Agency Admin Volunteer

Foodbank vouchers are issued to people by Referral Agencies (statutory and charitable organisations e.g. Citizens Advice, local council services etc). People can then exchange their voucher for a 3-day emergency food parcel at a local food bank.

We are looking for a volunteer Voucher & Referral Agency Admin to provide support to our Referral Agency Coordinator at Tottenham Foodbank. You will be responsible for creating and managing a database of our referral agencies, monitoring the vouchers inbox and responding to any queries from referral agencies. You would also be responsible for checking the vouchers coming through on the system issued against our food bank and highlighting any issues with the relevant referral agency.
